The Trogen-based artist H.R. Fricker has been commissioned by the Kronengesellschaft to compile a small, exquisite photo album about the youth of Sophie Taeuber Arp in Trogen taken by her mother Sophie Taeuber-Krüsi. For this purpose he has written a detailed text that reviews the years around the turn of the century. In the appendix, a paper by Sophie Taeuber is published, which deals with “Teaching drawing for textile professions”.
